Ok! Another one set=)
I'm digging that mask. Windranger has a lot of hood cosmetics and this is certainly a fresh take on the hero. Promising stuff!
Some progress of WR. Base models
I think HP is done =) I forgot push plate on the knee =)
So far so good. Looks almost done.
Bakes done, sorry for normals in screenshots. Tomorrow, I think I finish skinning
wow nice concept mate..., did you made this?
Concept - no. 3d and another - yes=)
sorry I haven't been participating in the comments, My whole life was a mess these last weeks
I have 2 main issues with the texture.
1.Color choice: the chosen palette of colors seems very close to default colors, hence the items are not really standing out. I think going for some more vivid or saturated colors or slightly new colors (IDK like black ) would help the set and the items to stand out and have their own unique characters. now they all seem very default-like.
2. The overall texture seems very smooth and plain without natural details such as bumps or dirt or scratches or broken parts and etc. those details help the items to look more natural, but currently I don't see those details.
Also the color of hood is I think a very bad choice. Honestly as I was looking at the last (in game) picture, I thought it was her original hair.
Keep it up guys, almost there
The texture detail is very nice. - but the coloring, saturation, and at places, the masks are just very off. its not exciting - take a look at the sets valve likes and hand picks? lets take a look together, shall we?
High contrast in colors within the set. Very dark at places, while at main pieces its extremely bright. creating a very high contrast between the elements.
Extremely high saturation. This is one set that you should take a look when it comes to Wind, this is the only elements that you should take note from. and good amount of brightness as well. a phosphorous feeling.
High amount of detail. increasing texture detail where it matters. In some cases, being balanced is not good. You can take away from some pieces to make the ones that are more visible matter more.
Also, the gold pieces in the hood, are literally invisible. make them POP out a bit more. Increase their contrast a bit so they are more visible. Make the gold MUCH MUCH more yellow. The juggernaut one was not enough yellow but its fine, however for this you need to POP the yellow a bit more.
The cape has a green hue. is that intended.
also I suggest as a backup plan keep some alternative color choices available in case they want us to change it. since the color choice is too different you never know.
I have the same comment regarding the color palette
It's looking a lot better, really like the overall detail of the set, still think the hood colors still need some adjustment but it's a great improvement.
