Hey everybody, I draw concepts for Bounty Hunter.
Modeler will be @Pernach
The mask is definitely an interesting idea. But you need to refine it a lot more. and can you also try the color red. Like the Legion Commander set. This is only to see which looks better, blue or red. But I like it overall if you can go for a rhinestones, gemstones and crystal theme.
Can i see the concept for weapons?
please make sure the color is phosphorous - otherwise just it being teal is not good enough.
I would like a recolor on this set. The turquoise we cant use. its basically exactly this:
and when in dota view we will not see a difference, play with the colors, and find the one that suits the sets best.
OK, some steps, need to remake all masks.=) Tomorrow=)
I like the new colors however it seems that it needs a lot of work. The color combination is not working properly. I dont feel any good relationship between the colors. I would suggest to go for more brighter tones for the armor parts. ditch the dark brown leather parts and dark metal for shiny and bright cloths. its a bit too dark.
another issue is the lack of gradients. the colors feel too abstract and pure and dont look as good in game. if you were to add a gradient effect to them i think they would look and feel better.
Try the legion color scheme for example. a Gold and dark red combination, or go white silver with blue saphire gems, or green emerald gem. But the current bronze is too dark. it just doesnt look that great from in game perspective. needs to be something bright. play with different colors. i think we can get to somewhere if we play around with the colors.
I think the main theme for all our sets is Gold + Something. like PL is gold and blue. Jug is gold and green, Legion gold and red - etc . . . we can do the same with this and follow coherence? maybe. just a thought!
Yeah the material definition is way off. Could I see a diffuse render in blender or 3Dmax. Only model, normal and texture. No masks.
Yeah, and this becomes more obvious with some red elements that were either not initially meant to be colored or not a gem at all. it feels like painted leather at some points. a bit rough. but its definitely workable.
again, we have a good base, we just need to work over this and we have some time. dont worry much about it
This is quite good and I think with a bit more refinement we can go with this. good job.
good) I'm glad
set completed and submitted. good job eveyone.
